3Keel’s Circular Economy Practice Area uses a wide range of different tools, techniques, skills and expertise to address the cross-cutting themes of Circular Economy, help our clients navigate the complex issues and plot the optimum way forward to bring about lasting change. We are seeking a Senior Consultant with extensive experience of Life Cycle Assessment and carbon foot printing to enhance our capacity, contribute to the ongoing development of the Circular Economy Practice Area strategy and assist/lead projects within the Climate Change practice area where overlaps exist.
You will be able to demonstrate your experience in Life Cycle Assessment, understanding of associated techniques and will have considerable experience in reviewing LCA models. In addition, you will have a desire and ability to scope and deliver wide-ranging projects to support clients wishing to progress their sustainability and circularity agendas. As trusted advisors, 3Keel are often in the position of co-developing work-plans with our clients to help them understand, articulate, and fulfil their needs.
The important stuff (essential requirements):
- Experience in LCA modelling, with a track record of completing and reviewing a wide range of LCAs, from rapid footprints to Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and LCAs for public disclosure
- Familiarity with LCA databases (e.g., Ecoinvent)
- Good understanding of standards and guidelines pertaining to LCAs, Product Environmental Footprints and GHG accounting and reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, etc.)
- Strong quantitative analytical skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, using advanced formulae, for extensive datasets
- Rapid and accurate research, data analysis and distillation of complex topics
- Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills, using a clear and engaging writing style, with a demonstrated ability to cut through the detail and present complex information in a client-friendly way
- Organised approach to work and experience prioritising to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in project management
- Adept at supporting colleagues and working in teams
- Experience of managing client relationships effectively and professionally
Other stuff (desirable skills):
- Line management experience
- Experience of data analytics and visualisation (e.g. PowerBi, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of FMCG supply chains, ideally related to food systems, packaging and and/or textiles
- Experience of planning and running multi-stakeholder workshops and meetings
- Successful track record in business development
