Select Lifestyles Limited was established in 2007, and we provide Specialist Support for individuals with additional needs. Our Service Users may be people living with Challenging
Behaviours, Adults living with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism and Complex Health Needs such as Epilepsy and Acquired Brain Injuries.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for fun, bubbly, hardworking and dedicated individuals to support our client in Fulford, Staffordshire on a 1:1 consistent basis. Due to the nature of this role, it is only available to female applicants
In this role, you will be required to support a charismatic verbal, young adult female with cerebral palsy promoting independence and providing companionship. Your duties will vary but will include taking the client out into the community in her mobility vehicle to access social activities and supporting her with aspects of personal care.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring our infection control standards remain on high alert supporting him in his own home and out in the community.
- Supporting with aspects of personal care and ensuring that our client always has the best centred care.
- The successful candidate will be working with one client on a consistent basis to build a rapport.
- Embracing and fulfilling our company values to give every single client the support to live life to the full and as independently as possible.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of Daily Notes, Risk Assessments, Medication Administration Records and Accident and Incidents Reports.
- Liaise with Professionals, Service Users Families, our in-house Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, Learning Disability Nurse and other Agencies when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Full UK Driving Licence Required (Manual Desirable)
- Ideally you will already have up-to-date mandatory training qualifications, however, this is not necessary as we can provide full training.
- You must be a compassionate, empathetic, and engaging person, that will always go that little bit further while helping and supporting others.
