Job Title: Operations Manager

The Company:
The role will involve all aspects of the business and supporting the Operations Director where required, as well as the smooth running of the office. This is a very diverse role and will involve working closely with the Operations Director, Home Managers, Support Staff and sometimes supporting the young people within the provisions.
Our well-established company and have two semi supported living provisions in the Northwest and are expanding in the Milton Keynes area.
Our company provides semi supported living for young people aged between 16/18 years old, we specialise in supporting young people and assisting them with employment, education, self-esteem, promoting independence, mental health and preparing them for their next step to adulthood.
Duties –
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the office functions and duties with assistance of HR
- Risk assessments
- Keeping up to date with new regulations, updating policies accordingly
- Implement/amend paperwork as per inspections
- Inspections
- Senior management supervision and appraisals
- Supporting Support staff and Home Managers
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Operational Director (PA to Operations Director)
- Hold staff meetings fortnightly
- Chair meetings with Social Workers, public services and other external agencies
- Tenders and QA’s
- Supporting staff with de-briefs when required
- Helping with any safeguarding concerns / whistleblowing
- Assisting HR and Home Managers with new staff inductions
