Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £42,000 – £44,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday. You will be required to be on the Standby Rota for call outs 1 week in 3.

About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Rice & Pulses Mill in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the suitable candidate will be apprentice trained, and preferably qualified to a min BTEC ONC level (NVQ level 3), in a relevant Electro – Mechanical engineering discipline, although an ability to multi skill is essential for this role.
As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in –
- Preventative maintenance
- Attending to breakdowns
- New machinery installations
- Projects
About you:
Qualifications:
- BTEC HNC / ONC Electrical / Mech. Engineering (CGLI Equivalent)
As well as the qualifications/standards mentioned above, you will need to be
- Competent with electrical, PLC and pneumatics tasks
- Demonstrate good fabrication skills
- Good at problem solving
Relevant experience in milling / food industry is preferred, however applications from candidates with experience in other relevant industries are welcomed.
This is a role whereby you will be working on your own and in a team; someone versatile and dynamic would be advantageous.
