The Role/What you’ll do:
Responsible for the maintaining & growing of existing accounts and numerous business development activities to identify new opportunities for Dale Power Solutions.
DPS has a defined core target of business sectors of which one or more will be a key part of this roles strategy, but identifying and promoting other products within the DPS portfolio would be encouraged.
The role will require a mix of days visiting customers, site surveys, attending key events, exhibitions, factory visits (Scarborough) along with customer entertaining, so some nights away.
Duties (not limited to but an overview of main activities expected as a min):
- Identifying new UPS opportunities from existing and new customers
- Phoning / Visiting key customers allocated to you
- Business Development Activities – social media, working with marketing to identify shows/events and other forms of customer relationship building (factory overnight visits)
- Carrying out site surveys / customer visits
- Updating / maintaining CRM and producing a monthly report – covering various activities
- Following up quotes
- Engaging with internal team / colleagues to ensure tasks set are met and customer satisfaction is of the highest
- Working with the FM Team with enquiries providing support to them as required

Qualifications:
Experience in critical power would be useful. Good communication skills, emails & telephone. CRM / computer skills (basic level as training will be provided)

Additional Information:
The role is varied and requires a lot of proactive activity, often requires a lot of lone working, self- motivation but regular interaction with the team is encouraged.
Knowledge is key and so regular training on products is encouraged.
You would be encouraged to share market intelligence, which will all aid product development along with other reactions to market trends i.e. stock holding and product type.
