Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Head of HR to manage and develop our existing HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent career progression prospects within our rapidly growing Firm.
The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing dynamic and effective leadership and day-to-day management of the department and operational activities including the effective, efficient and economic deployment of physical, financial and human resources.
- Implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and standards in relation to HR.
- Leadership in the development and implementation of the firm’s HR Strategy as a key enabler of the firm’s strategic plan.
- Playing an active role in supporting the effective management of change across the firm, advising on higher management and Departments Head about strategies to achieve high levels of commitment to achieving agreed outcomes.
- To lead role in the development and integration of HR policies and procedures.
- Overseeing the implementation of recruitment, remuneration and staff retention practices.
- Providing leadership and guidance on issues relating to the equality and diversity agenda and champion the firm’s commitment to equality and diversity.
- Undertaking appropriate risk assessment at departmental, functional, and corporate level.
- Taking a lead role in the preparation of documentation for formal disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Advising on the handling of serious employee relations matters and sensitive personnel cases, deploying high level professional skills to achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as HR Head / Director.
- CIPD level 7.
- BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in Human Resources will be a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
- Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
- A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and leadership skills.
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
