The Role:
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our collaborative and welcoming Clear Voice team, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to be extended.
This key role will provide expert analysis and reporting to support decision-making across the organisation, by identifying key questions and using analytical and technical skills to provide solutions and insight. The successful candidate will report on trends insights into current underlying performance, issues and opportunities, and research and compile external data sources, analysing markets, competitors, and business opportunities.
The post-holder will support the strategic development of the business, collecting project data and information that will enable the Senior Leadership Team and Board to make informed decisions on the future direction of Clear Voice to minimise inefficiencies. Working closely with colleagues, you will develop measures and evaluation models that enable Clear Voice to understand and promote the social impact of its activities.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to monitor key metrics of the business
- Generate in-depth analysis and insight that informs decision-making across the business
- Evaluate the performance and impact of activities
- Respond to data requests, gather requirements establishing the best data sources and deliver results effectively and consistently
- Provide market and competitor analysis, helping evidence our place in the sector, and identifying opportunities to improve service provision, increase income generation and develop the business
- Develop an approach to measuring and evaluation Clear Voice’s social value and impact which can be translated into partnership opportunities and growth and identify areas where we could do more to maximise our social impact potential
- Research and analyse marketing data to inform and guide marketing decisions
- Undertake desk research, using sector and business data published and released by other organisations and research journals, providing the Senior Leadership Team with additional secondary data that will assist with strategic planning and business development
- Contribute to development of business plans and strategy
- Manage multiple ongoing research projects
Experience/Skills Required:
- Demonstrable experience in a business/data analysis or related role
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver results
- Experience working with large datasets
- Demonstrable ability to use initiative and work with minimal instruction
- Expertise in the clear presentation of accurate data in high quality reporting
