Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales of power transmission products and technical solution packages to a wide industry base in the UK market. Working from home and/or the Shefford office, this is a key position servicing and supporting existing accounts; new projects & application solutions; developing new markets and contributing to new sales strategies.
You will be expected to manage key accounts; meet or exceed an agreed sales forecast; maintain current product and market knowledge and adopt a flexible attitude to your role as expected in a small, dynamic company.
About you:
You will have an engineering qualification / background in a relevant electro-mechanical discipline to HNC/HND/degree level, excellent communication and ITC skills and be self motivated with a pro-active approach to solution-based sales.
Preference will be given to an applicant with experience of the industrial power transmission market. Technical experience with some or all products including mechanical screw jacks, linear actuators, industrial gearboxes, couplings and other mechanical components will be a major advantage.
