GRE are looking for an Electrical Panel Wirer, to join our friendly, experienced, highly skilled production team, and become part of this diverse, young, growing company at an exciting time.
We are looking for an all-round, hands-on, practically minded Engineer, who relishes the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and enjoys a challenge. You will be working with our established team, producing prestigious machinery for globally recognised companies.
The role will be based at our factory in Willand and is Monday to Friday day shift, with the opportunity to work overtime, and at customer’s sites if required.

On-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate. Over time, we expect you to develop wide range of technical skills in this diverse and exciting role.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Panel wirer or someone with experience with (industrial) control panel wiring including but not limited to:
– Control wiring.
– Busbar wiring and connection.
– Mains up to 400V and up to 500A.
- 10 years minimum experience with electrical wiring.
- Ability to think on their feet (e.g. cable sizes, minor mods) / work under own initiative.
- Ability to read and understand an electrical
- Ability to layout and build a control panel using, DIN rail, trunking, switchgear, terminals, etc.
Desired Skills and Requirements:
- Driving license.
- Direct experience with control panel wiring.
- Direct experience with control panel design.
- Own tools (crimps, strippers, metering etc).
