Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator – Fixed Head and Sliding Head Lathes
Location: Oldbury, West Midlands
Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 Per Hour.

Due to expansion of the business, we are looking for a CNC Setter/Operative to join our established team in the manufacturing of bespoke fasteners and precision components.
Is this right for you?
As CNC Setter/Operator you will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating of Citizen Sliding Head lathes.
- Setting and operating of Miyano Fixed Head lathes using the fanuc system.
- Programming new jobs from existing program templates.
- Changing of tips, tools, drills and inserts.
- Measuring parts to engineering drawings using tools such as Venier Calipers, micrometers, ring gauges and shadowgraphs.
- Following the production job card system.
- Working with other departments to facilitate production.
The ideal candidate must have extensive CNC setting experience and demonstrate a high level of understanding of technical information and engineering drawings. All our work is bespoke, each job is different so a high level of manufacturing knowledge is essential.
