Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Salary: £30,000 to £37,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

The Role:

We believe that the right people can make all the difference, and that’s why we’re on the lookout for an exceptional Senior HR Advisor to join our team at SYNLAB. As we continue to expand and grow, we need an experienced HR professional to support our business units and help drive our success in the Southwest. Based at our Cardiff site, you’ll have the chance to work closely with our HR Business Partner and provide a full range of generalist HR services, advice and support to all stakeholders, from our Senior Management Team to our valued employees across SYNLAB UK.

Essential Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate for this exciting role will have extensive experience working as a standalone Senior HR Advisor and be a great communicator. You’ll possess the ability to build positive relationships with all levels of management and hit the ground running to demonstrate your exceptional knowledge of HR operational activities and practical application in the workplace. You’ll be fully conversant with all aspects of monthly payroll reconciliation and changes, and be able to analyse HR data and metrics to provide insightful information to support decision-making.

As a member of our dynamic team of HR professionals, you’ll play a vital role in driving our growth and achieving our ambitious goals. You’ll need to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, planning, and excellent time management skills are essential.

If you have a CIPD Level 5 or above, a working knowledge of HRIS (Compass), significant experience in dealing with change management, absence management, and employee relations, we want to hear from you. You’ll also need to have a deep understanding of employment legislation and be able to advise our managers on policies and procedures.
