Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Worthing, BN12 6NZ – Office Based
Salary: From £25,000 per annum

About the role:
To ensure accurate and up to date maintenance of the sales and purchase ledgers and assist with administrative duties to support the finance function.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Posting supplier invoice and credit notes ensuring accurate purchase ledger records are maintained
- Prepare weekly supplier payment runs
- Reconciling of supplier statements
- Filing of supplier invoices and statements
- Produce customer invoices and credit notes
- Raise monthly customer statements and assist with the credit control function
- Performing daily cash till reconciliations
- Other ad-hoc duties
Key Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel
- Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Team player
- Positive, flexible and professional attitude
