Job Title: Production Engineer

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum

Must hold sole British citizenship and you must have continually resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
The role:
- To influence design for manufacture
- To lead Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Plan new product introduction
- Devise/provide/procure efficient safe manufacturing processes and equipment including quality assurance methods and full documentation to satisfy a highly regulated environment
The Candidate:
- Level 4 HNC or equivalent (essential)
- 5 Years British Residency
- Permitted to work in the UK
- Full Driving Licence
Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Carry out risk assessments to identify and implement safe working procedures.
- To identify and document process instructions.
- Follow NPP process.
- To maintain the Work Instructions.
- To provide buildings, services, tooling, and equipment in support of the production programme.
- In conjunction with area supervision, to set up and carry out initial running of new processes.
- Compile technical reports.
- Identify and Cost capital projects.
- To identify production improvement opportunities.
- To train production personnel in the use of equipment, tooling and processes.
- Prepare and coordinate Process Management of Change; amending tooling, equipment and Work Instructions accordingly.
- Maintain the tool drawings & register.
- Compile Capex applications.
- Project management of new and improved processes.
- Take the lead in PFMEAs.
- Participate in DFMEAs.
- QMS documentation maintenance and improvement.
