Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Darwen, Lancashire
Salary: £9.50 per hour + £25 Attendance Allowance
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Mon – Thurs 8am – 4.45pm, Fri 8am-3.30pm (42.5 hours per week)
Established for over 35 years and now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, the Company is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy and expanding team based in Darwen, Lancashire.
This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving an 18 ton vehicle and other vehicles as and when needed.
- Flexible person to undertake local deliveries of steel goods.
- Provide HGV cover within the division.
- Provide cover for departments which may entail various start times, weekend work.
- Other duties as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Must have LGV Cat C (HGV class 2) license.
- Must be flexible and prepared to do occasional night work/work away from home.
- Must be willing to undergo FLT training to assist with loading vehicles.
