Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Borough Green, Kent
Salary: £24,000-£28,000 + bonus
Job type: Full Time
Working Hours: 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Versatile Equipment is looking for a motivated and committed Parts Advisor to join our team at Borough Green, Kent.
As an authorised dealer for Bobcat and Mecalac brands, you will work as part of a team and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers/suppliers.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- You will ensure that all requests are dealt with promptly, and support and assist colleagues and customers with parts identification, searching and sourcing.
- You will also ensure that the parts stock room is well maintained, and stock levels are managed, by taking responsibility for the ordering and selling of a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories.
- Establishing our engineers and customers’ needs for required parts through conversations and recommendations as appropriate.
- Communicating relevant promotions and offers to customers.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to external and internal customers.
- Receiving, recording, and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers.
- Assisting parts stock checks.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationship with the manufacturers.
- Being fully conversant with procedures within the parts department.
- Maintaining and updating displays as per manufacturer requirements.
Qualifications:
(Desirable)
- Skills gained in a similar role in the industry
- Grade C or above GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
- Forklift License
