Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 experience dependant

About the role:
Due to expansion, Skylight Transport is looking for an experienced vehicle mechanic to work out of their small, but yet busy, local, friendly garage based in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. They have a team of 2 mechanics, and they are looking to grow the team by taking on another mechanic to the growing business. They require someone with attention to detail to carry out vehicle services, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic trouble shooting for all makes and models of cars and vans that are roughly 3 years old and older.
Key Responsibilities:
- Car & van repairs.
- Vehicle Inspections.
- Correction/repair of vehicle defects.
- O.T failure repairs.
- Air conditioning refilling and repairs.
- Diagnostic/trouble shooting.
- Tyres changes.
- All other vehicle repairs as required.
The Candidate:
- 3 years Vehicle Mechanic / Technician experience.
- Fully qualified (NVQ Level Two/Three Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).
- Diagnostic ability (desirable but not necessary).
- Positive attitude and flexibility with workloads.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player.
