Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Whiteparish, near Salisbury

Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience

Job type: Permanent, Full-time

We are a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronic products. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our technical sales team.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and winning sales to drive company growth. Key tasks include:

  • Carry out sales visits to prospective customers and new distributors with a strong focus on winning business;
  • Understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate how Lascar’s products will benefit the customer’s business;
  • Maintain regular contact with and support existing customers and offer excellent customer care for their business;
  • Develop sales strategies, presentations and project proposals to win critical sales accounts;
  • Educate customers about Lascar’s products and services and expand customer accounts;
  • Collaborate with the marketing, engineering and management teams to offer the most comprehensive service to our customers;

About you:

Key attributes of the ideal candidate include:

  • Experience of product sales in a B2B environment, ideally having owned a £2m+ sales revenue target and having managed multiple revenue lines;
  • Able to demonstrate year on year revenue growth;
  • Experience of launching a revenue line in a new territory would be beneficial;
  • A strong interest in technology and electronics;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to multi-task in a changing and fast paced environment.

You will receive full training in all aspects of Lascar’s products and service and will work as part of a highly motivated and dynamic team.

Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm
  • Holidays: Starting entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays increasing each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays
  • Sabbatical: One month paid sabbatical after 6 years
