The Role:
The Assistant Management Accountant will provide accounting support within the Finance team, to ensure key financial close and day to day activities are complete in a robust and timely manner.

What you’ll do:
- Supporting with monthly management accounts – fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, preparing and posting journals.
- Bank reconciliation, including revaluations.
- Debtor reconciliation.
- Processing credit card and personal expenses.
- VAT returns.
- Supporting purchase and sales ledger as required.
- Other reporting and duties as required.
- Ad hoc duties throughout the wider finance team.
What’s important to us:
To be successful in this Assistant Management Accountant role, individuals will ideally:
- Have previous finance experience, ideally in balance sheet reconciliation.
- Have great MS Excel skills.
- Be enthusiastic and self-motivated and be able to work in a small team.
- Be personable and friendly, with good communication team working skills.
- Be computer literate and able to learn new systems and processes.
- Have good customer service skills, with good telephone manner and email etiquette.
- You’ll be resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You’ll have good levels of self-awareness, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- You’ll have good time management skills.
