Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: £35k – £45k (experience dependant)
Job type: Permanent, Full time.
Chapmans Refrigeration ltd has been established for 15 years with 25 years + experience in the industry. We are looking to expand our team.
We are currently recruiting for AC engineers to fulfil multiple roles. If you are an apprentice, improver, or experienced AC engineer, we want to hear from you. We are looking for both service and install engineers. Salary negotiable depending on skillset and right candidate.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Remote and on-site technical assistance.
- Commission of air condition, chillers, air handling units and heat recovery units.
- Working alongside current design and sales engineering to relay specific product information.
Apprentices:
- A keen interest to learn and begin a career in air conditioning.
- Driving licence essential.
Improver:
- Previous install / experience preferred
- NVQ or equivalent in air conditioning preferred
- Driving licence essential
Experience:
- Previous installation / service experience
- Driving license essential
- FGAS certification
- CSCS certification preferred
Desired Skills:
- Hold qualifications in refrigeration biased disciplines / demonstrable experience.
- FGAS Category 1 Certification.
- Suitable experience with HVAC products.
- Clean Driving License (European flexibility for travel – training).
- Committed interest to HVAC sector and market knowledge.
- Excellent technical knowledge of:
-Air Conditioning
-Water Chillers
-Domestic & Commercial Air to Water Heat Pumps
Fundamental understanding of HVAC requirements within buildings, associated electrical requirements, control elements and BMS integration are also deemed essential for the role.
