Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Croydon
Salary: Basic salary from £28,000-38,000 per year
Job type: Full-time, Permanent. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm with a 15 min morning break (10.30 – 10.45am) and 30 min lunch (1.30 – 2pm), plus 2-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:00am to midday

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced vehicle technician to join our well established (35 years), friendly, independent garage in South Croydon. In addition to basic servicing and maintenance, the candidate will be required to undertake some of the more complicated mechanical duties such as cambelt/timing chain replacement, clutch and suspension work. Specialist tooling and procedures would of course be provided.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience, along with a City & Guilds or NVQ level III Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications preferably across more than one manufacturer but not essential. An MOT Testing licence would also be beneficial but not essential. A full UK licence and own tools are required.
