Job Title: Building Maintenance Engineer
Location: Doncaster (based at client site)
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Position:
As Building Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to carry out all maintenance and repair works at your allocated site based in Doncaster, as required by the Regional Supervisor/National Account Manager. You may need to travel to other sites in your region to carry out maintenance/repair works, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all PPM work is carried out on the required date and all paperwork is set to the office to enable upload to the portal
- Ensure all jobs are responded to and rectified within the SLA timescale
- Liaising with clients and supervising sub-contractors
- Ensure all open works are priority each morning
- Be proactive around the building in fault finding
- Ensure that the correct spares are onsite for any eventuality
- Reduce the site visits of mobile engineering by being able to first-time fix through relevant training which is being carried out by management
- Ensure you take all responsibility and ownership for each job
- Ensure no jobs are passed back to helpdesk without in-depth investigation
- Ensure you are the first port of call for anybody visiting the site
- Part of an on-call rota, usually around 1 week in 4 (£150 weekly on-call + £50 per call out + inflated hourly rate if called out, Company van included)
The Candidate:
- Previous trade experience in carpentry, water testing, AC, plumbing, and electrical desirable
- Experience in a similar role/background in general building maintenance
- Great communication skills
- Very well organised
- Team player
