The Role:
Our Arive Innovations Hubs support early-stage companies in the areas of health, performance and wellbeing (HPW), aligning with ARU’s expertise within the Medical Technology Research Institute, the School of Medicine and extensive capabilities in HPW.
Our Arise Innovation Hubs, located in Chelmsford and Harlow, benefit from strong links to the wider HPW ecosystem connecting into Clinical Commissioning Groups, Hospital Trusts, Public Health England, and the UK Innovation Corridor.
You will be responsible for coordinating the operations across both Arise Innovation hubs to deliver high quality facilities and administrative services to our occupants. Taking particular responsibility for the oversight of events delivery, both within the hubs and our attendance at external national meetings. Including the logistics, catering and production of promotional materials, with the support of the central ARU teams.
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join the team with experience and qualifications in operations and events management. You will support the day to day running and development of both hubs and our interaction with the local business community. The post would suit an individual who enjoys a lively environment and engagement with both small business and academic researchers. You will be engaging and a great communicator working with a variety of people building trusted relationships. We are looking for an individual with knowledge of the life science and /or innovation sectors, a degree or professional qualification in a scientific discipline or business management and experience of event management and working in customer facing roles.
