Job Title: Driver/Packer
Location: Aldgate East, London
Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 per annum
Job type: Full-time, Permanent.
PACK & SEND is a company that offers a complete range of postal, freight, courier, packing and removal services, operating through a national retail network.
The Role:
- Collections of packed and unpacked items, most of which are fragile and therefore require extra attention and care.
- Safely securing collections in the van to avoid any damage in transit.
- Utmost courtesy to our valuable customers.
- Utmost care in handling fragile objects.
- Unloading the van in our store.
- After full training, the driver is expected to learn how to pack objects of different shapes using heavy duty bubble-wrap, cardboard boxes, ethafoam and other packaging materials in our store.
Candidate Requirements:
Full UK driving licence is required; good knowledge of London roads is a bonus. Courtesy, efficiency, a good level of English and attention to detail are required.
