Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

The Role:
- Servicing and maintenance of a wide range of fire alarm systems to include conventional, addressable, two wire and wireless.
- Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
- Servicing and maintenance of AOV systems.
- Fault finding and emergency call out service on the above systems.
- Conducting remedial work if required on the above systems.
Possible additional responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintenance of access control, CCTV & intruder alarm systems.
- Commissioning of fire alarm systems.
Candidate Requirements:
A positive “can do” attitude, a genuine team player with an approach of finding solutions as opposed to moaning about problems, a customer service focused approach and be blessed with a sense of humour and a moral compass.
- Understanding and working knowledge of BS5839 and BS5166.
- FIA & BAFE modules and accreditations.
- Working knowledge of health & safety requirements such as asbestos awareness, manual handling etc.
