Job Title: Sales Administrator / Sales Executive

Salary: £24,000 – £34,000 per annum

About us:
Delicioso are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our sales team and help us achieve our goals. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries.

Delicioso is one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of high-quality Spanish foods, drinks, kitchenware and gift items. We are known for offering delicious and authentic products including award-winning cured meats, pâtés, seafood, salsas and condiments, sweets and chocolates. All our products are of the highest quality and provenance, and many of have won international and UK taste awards.
We’ve spent over fifteen years building relationships with our Spanish suppliers. We search out authentic family-run businesses throughout Spain to bring regional specialities to delicatessens, tapas bars, restaurants, retailers and distributors throughout the UK.
What you’ll be working on
You will need to be able to work in a small team, willing to get stuck into whatever projects come your way, resourceful and self-motivated. You will also need to be okay with starting out in entry level sales. A great opportunity for non-graduates and graduates alike who would like to learn new skills and try something different!
You will be required to build a good rapport with business customers over the phone and email, to ensure we offer excellent customer service to meet their business needs.
- One of your daily tasks will be answering the phone and helping customers when they are placing orders.
- In due course and after completing any necessary training, you will be calling lapsed customers to reintroduce them to Delicioso as well as nurturing inbound leads to build new relationships.
- Experience working in a sales/telesales environment would be good but is not essential, as full training will be given.
- Excellent communication skills and bubbly personality.
- Ability to talk confidently to customers and answer questions and queries.
- Strong customer focus to ensure you meet customers’ requirements and to maintain company standards of excellent service at all times.

About you
- Motivated, upbeat individual
- Good work ethic and good timekeeping
- Confidence to answer the phone and make outbound calls
- General knowledge of Microsoft and ability to pick up in-house computer systems easily
