We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
The Role
This is a great time to join GamCare as we’ve got big growth plans. Our Recruitment Coordinator post is a newly created opportunity for someone who is a confident communicator, works collaboratively, has a proactive attitude, and enjoys being part of a cross functional team.
As the successful candidate you’ll be a part of a high performing, professional team where you’ll proactively support and administer the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring that the candidate and recruiting manager experience is always your key focus.
You’ll complete tasks and projects, gather market intel and keep abreast of recruitment trends, respond to enquires, work with internal and external stakeholders, use initiative to take action and make decisions within your agreed limits of responsibility while identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to respond to the changing demands of GamCare’s recruitment offering.
About You
With demonstrable experience of in-house or agency recruitment within an agile, evolving organisation you’ll bring your customer centric, administrative and coordinative expertise with you. You’ll have worked with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and be able to manage expectations and SLAs accordingly.
Having a strong understanding of recruitment and methodology will be key to your success as you’ll be expected to work remotely, so self-motivation and a keen awareness of managing your workload while adhering to deadlines is crucial for this role.
Most importantly you’ll have worked on high level recruitment campaigns from entry to Board level and will bring a consultative element when establishing recruitment strategies while also offering administrative support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Running high volume recruitment admin and coordination, with the candidate and hiring manager experience front of mind.
- To ensure ED&I best practice is adhered to and consistent across all recruitment campaigns
- Develop effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong customer service provision, whilst managing client expectations.
- Work closely with hiring managers and other key individuals to ensure a smooth, timely and cost-effective recruitment and selection process is delivered.
- Develop strong working relationships with key departments across GamCare to ensure a strong customer service provision
- Take joint responsibility with the wider HR Team to ensure that the Recruitment Campaign spreadsheet is maintained, updated and tracked so each stage of every campaign is easily reported against
