Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer
Location: Selby
Salary: £21,575- £22,369 (Pro Rata) – Grade C.
Job type: Part Time, Permanent. You will work on a 3 over 6 day rota basis (Monday – Saturday), including bank holidays, with start and finish times between 08.00 and 18.00. Very occasional pre-planned evening work is sometimes required.

About the role:
As a civil enforcement officer you will patrol both on street and car park locations across the Selby district, checking that vehicles are parked correctly, and where necessary issuing Penalty Charge Notices (parking tickets).
You will patrol mainly on foot in all weathers in and around town centres, sometimes driving a Council vehicle to other locations. Certified training and uniform will be provided.
Candidate Requirements:
You will have previous experience of interacting with the public in a calm and tactful manner. Whilst you will be supported, you will be working alone mostly using your own initiative and you will be responsible for your daily activities.
