Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year (experience dependent)

Job type: Permanent, Full Time.

The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an office-based position within a sales environment maintaining and managing customers from enquiries received right through to quotations and account management.

We are looking for a professional individual who is flexible, pragmatic, commercially aware and client-driven. The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales environment and customer service with excellent communication skills.

The Candidate:

  • Previous account/customer-facing sales experience gained in any industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop within your role.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage your own time efficiently.
  • Good IT literacy – Familiar with MS Packages – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Excellent communication, written English and grammar skills.
  • Able to work and collaborate efficiently within a team.

**Previous experience in Aerospace and Defence along with languages would be advantageous!

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Prepare/follow up quotations – setting customer pricing from previous sale history, average margins and overall customer average.
  • Obtain and prepare any supporting documentation (drawings & datasheets).
  • Review, acknowledge and amend Purchase Orders whilst verifying customer compliance and T’s & C’s as required.
  • Liaise with the admin team to pro-actively monitor customer open orders and notify/update customers on all delivery delays & issues.
  • Liaise with quality team to ensure all customer rejections/complaints/quality queries are processed efficiently.
  • Provide customer service for all after sales issues – coordinating the relevant internal departments to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve all queries.
