Job Description:
- We are searching for an innovative Production Engineer to join our team and ensure quality products are delivered on time. The Engineer’s responsibilities will include supervising the control processes, performing various tests on products, writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with products, methods, and equipment, and providing training and general support to the engineering team.
- Experience in Production Engineering, Tooling, continuous improvement, process improvement and lean manufacturing methods would be ideal for this role. To be a successful Engineer, you should display great attention to detail and a sound understanding of what makes a good product. Top-notch candidates can make recommendations to workers on the assembly line.

Shift Times:
Week 1: 0600 -1430
Week 2: 1400 – 1030
Our materials are designed to:

Production Technician / Engineer Responsibilities:
- Evaluating quality control processes and making recommendations for improvements
- Reviewing and calculating the costs of the different tools and equipment in the production process and predicting the overheads in future production requirements
- Analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency
- Coordinating maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational
- Making sure that staff follow the manufacturer’s procedures and instructions while operating the equipment
- Overseeing the work of operators and shop-floor personnel
- Establishing an effective work sequence
- Ensuring the required materials are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers.
- Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management and SheQ manager.
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
- Analysing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations.
- Scheduling training sessions and refresher workshops as required.
- Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers.
- Regularly educating staff members on health and safety regulations.
- Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
- Staying up to date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
Production Technician/ Engineer Requirements:
- Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer discipline would be advantageous.
- Deep Knowledge of production practices.
- Experience in TPM, lean manufacturing, process improvement and Continuous improvement would be beneficial
- Experienced in manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving skills.
- Good powers of observation.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide training.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required.
