Site Operations Assistant
Location: Gunness, Scunthorpe
Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 p/a depending on experience.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday 07:30am – 4:00pm

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a Site Operations Assistant who will assist the Site Operations Manager with the day to day administrative & operational duties. Working closely with the supervisors to support them with any administrative tasks to ensure the site runs efficiently. This is a newly created role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Operations Manager with monthly management reports
- Make bookings for hauliers/customers
- Preparing paperwork for loading
- Shipping orders once loading
- Creating weigh tickets
- Signing in drivers and making sure they have completed inductions
- Updating Gunness Order Ledger
- Dealing with visitor to site
- Filing/Archiving
- Liaising and organising the annual medical assessments and flu vaccinations for staff
- Working closely with the Site Operations Manager & Site Supervisors with upcoming ISO audits
- Working with HR to ensure staff carry out e-learning training which has been assigned to them & updating the training system.
- Organising and booking training courses for staff
- General housekeeping ordering office supplies and office equipment
- Answering telephone calls
- Supporting with Logistics
- Bookings for conference rooms & organising lunches for staff when attending meetings
- Supporting with any other reasonable administrative office-based tasks

Education & Qualification Requirements:
- GCSE qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient on all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- H&S experience (desirable but not essential)
