The work we do is varied and quickly evolving, you will need to get things done quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with our web designers during both the design phase and whilst developing the front-end code, reporting to a client-specific project manager, who is the client’s first point of contact and has overall responsibility for delivering the project. You will also work closely with other members of the Development team, supporting the back-end developers in integrating your front-end code into websites and web applications.
Once you join Crafted you will work on a variety of exciting projects for our amazing clients, across a wide range of sectors from travel and leisure (Eurotunnel), commercial property (Workspace) to prestige brands (Burgess). Some of our most recent site launches include GPE, Internet Watch Foundation, FIA Foundation, and Santas Lapland.
What we look for in a Developer?
We are seeking someone who is flexible, adaptable and enjoys working on and learning different frameworks, technologies and platforms.
We’ll support you through on the job training and professional development which is discussed with your line manager at regular check in meetings. We work with you to identify areas where external training would be beneficial and are open to suggestions to investigate new technologies that will help our clients.
The work you do at Crafted will mean specialising in building and supporting public facing CMS-driven websites. As part of the team, you will be ensuring the design and user interface have been implemented to our high standards and the end product is robust, scalable, secure, SEO friendly and standards compliant.
Our office is in Ipswich, a short walk from the station and easily commutable from the surrounding area and beyond.
