If so we have a fantastic opportunity to join our newly formed team planning and running a first class annual event
About the role:
Based on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, your main duty is to ensure that this existing holiday home sector event which is moving location can build upon its previous success and develop the show into its new larger venue
Key Areas:
- Understand the holiday home sector and become a champion of it
- Prepare, present and manage budgets and exploit commercial opportunities and enjoy picking up the phone, pitching and negotiating.
- Build relationships with clients and manage them from pipeline through to delivery
- Research and present concepts to develop interesting and appropriate content
- Be organised with amazing attention to detail as you will be doing everything from establishing the signage requirements to managing contractors
About you
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- You will have excellent financial management abilities
- You will be a team player with phenomenal communication skills
- You will have excellent project management skills
- You will have a professional and enthusiastic attitude; remaining friendly and respectful at all times
