The Role:
Seeking a personable and talented professional to join our progressive HAYNE Cloud team, helping to manage day-to-day cloud operations and implementations within a small team, ensuring a professional and consistent approach to the service management of customer solutions.
The Candidate:
As the successful Cloud Operations Manager, you will have had an extensive career in I.T across one or more disciplines, ideally technical support, server/network administration and have in-depth experience in the following areas:
- Microsoft Certified AZ-305 is essential
- At least 3 years Azure implementation and administration experience
- Background in IT infrastructure management or server administration
- Implementation and administration of Active Directory/AAD/AADDS/DNS/GPO
- Microsoft 365 administration & security
- Networking skills (WAN, VPN, DNS etc)
- Disaster recovery & backup operations
- ITIL and service management
- Cyber security, Information Security or ISO 27001 experience (ideal but not essential)
- Technical Team/Service management experience

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Managing the cloud operations team
- Ensuring operational checks are performed and issues are remediated/escalated
- Ensuring the security, stability and availability of customer cloud solutions; this includes performance and capacity planning
- Assist with upgrading, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for Azure IaaS Windows and Linux servers
- Providing technical escalation support to the Helpdesk team
- Identifying and implementing automation to drive efficiencies and reduce support issues
- Working with the operations team to continually implement and refine cloud operations, management and deployment processes
- Documenting customer environments, solution diagrams and knowledgebase articles
- Proactively monitor infrastructures, systems, networks and business processes
- Ensuring governance of customer cloud solutions
- Supporting major incident reviews and taking ownership of problem management recommendations to drive continual service improvement
- Some out of hours work maybe required
- Mentoring the Cloud operations and support teams to ensure knowledge transfer and development
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
