Job Title: Nursery Deputy Manager (Level 3 Qualified or above)

Location: West London

Salary: Up to £34,000 per year (Experience Dependent)

Job type: Permanent, Full time.

We’re a family run nursery group with over 30 years in London and looking for an individual to join, work and ideally live within a commutable distance of our lovely West London nursery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

You should be able to demonstrate key skills in LOVE AND CARE, as well as observation and assessing child development of the child in your care, as part of your nursery day. Other duties include:

  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team, within childcare and maintenance staff.
  • To ensure all policies, procedures, curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times.
  • To oversee planning in rooms and support where necessary.
  • Collaborate in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and where necessary follow safe guarding procedures.
  • Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
  • Observe, support and extend children’s learning.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1 years of Nursery based Management experience (preferred).
  • Hold relevant childcare qualifications (Level 3+).
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
