Job Title: Production Operative (Architectural Metalwork)
Location: London, SW19
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Job Type: Monday to Fridays – Minimum 36 hours a week. Willing to work overtime or on weekends if needed.
John Desmond Ltd is an Architectural Metalwork company specializing in the bespoke design, manufacture, and installation of metalwork for major commercial and high-end residential projects.
Our products include staircases, cladding, balustrades, and other feature metalwork in stainless steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, glass, and wood. Our clients are typically major building and management contractors.
The role:
- We are looking for an eager individual to join us to assist in the process of colouring stainless steel through PVD technology.
- The individual will be required to prepare the materials for cleaning, loading and unloading of the machine and packing goods.
- There will be opportunities for the right person to learn to become a machine operator.
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:
- Any experience in engineering/electronics would be an advantage to becoming an operator/technician.
- Previous experience in metalwork. (At least 1 year) or other architectural materials.
- A meticulous eye for detail.
- Must be willing to learn.
- Good understanding of English.
