Job Title: Enterprise Consultant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £32,348 – £34,308 per annum – SS5.
Job type: Fixed term until 31 July 2023.
The Role:
The Business School are looking to recruit a highly knowledgeable and well-connected Enterprise Consultant to lead on the Enterprise activities at UCB. A key aspect of this (until June 2023) is the BSEEN programme for University College Birmingham working with Aston University, Birmingham City University and Newman University. However, part of the role will be to expand the offer and engagement of students and the local community. As an institution we have heavily invested in our campus with a new Enterprise Incubator. The Enterprise Consultant will be directly involved in running, developing and expanding the Enterprise Incubator further.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of the support available for start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs, and have some experience of managing or running and business themselves. The candidate should have up-to-date and relevant experience with the ability to create engaging and innovative programmes and sessions for start-up entrepreneurs.

The post is initially a fixed term contract but with a view to drawing future funding and a sustainable operational model.
