Job Title: Site Operator
Location: Gunness, Scunthorpe
Salary: Up to £28,000 per year depending on experience.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday 07:30am – 4:00pm with the occasional need for overtime.

The Role:
Solventis is looking for a Site Operator to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of the depots on time and in full targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive deliveries of supplies and ensure safe handling and storage to laid down operational procedures.
- Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch to laid down operational procedures.
- Contribute to the safe handling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements.
- Filling of packed products following operational procedures.
- Blending of products laid down in operational procedures.
- Building loads to meet customer and depot orders.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouses.
- Always applying general housekeeping.
- Carrying out any reasonable task after adequate training, related to the post assigned by a line manager.
Skills & Competencies:
- Able to communicate well with customers, suppliers, depots, and other employees.
- Work well within a team.
- Responsible for employee and site safety.
- Flexible and able to work within a team with a good work ethic.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
- Valid FLT license.
- Previous experience of working within the chemical industry (advantageous).
- H&S experience.
Training & Competencies:
- Forklift driver.
- Health & safety related training.
