Job Title: Cloakroom Attendant
Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent.
Purpose of Role:
Be the first point of contact to provide a warm, friendly, and efficient experience to guests as they arrive at Isabel Mayfair. Ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and always maintained in line with our guest expectations and values.
Assisting the reception team with keeping guest belongings safe and creating a warm experience. As cloakroom attendant, you should be able to recognise & engage with our regular guests, FOH and provide a memorable experience.
Main Duties:
- Welcome guests.
- Tagging all items checked into the cloakroom and issue them with a matching ticket.
- Safely storing items on hangers or racks, with a focus on the set order, so items do not get mixed up.
- Communicate effectively to line managers on requests / situations on the floor.
- Assisting with seating taking guests to their allocated table.
- Be knowledgeable of the venue policies.
- Provide personalised service to FOH and regulars.
- Be knowledgeable of FOH, regular guests and building a friendly rapport with them.
- Set up and maintaining cleanliness and organised cloakroom at all times.
- Ensuring all belongings are reunited to the correct guest/owner.
- Be observant and aware of items being left behind and reporting as lost property.
- Reporting any suspicious persons or items to the manager on duty and to security team.
- Handling guests’ complaints or problems immediately.
- Handling multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
- Be aware of health and safety policies and observant of guest’s interactions.
- Assist the reception team as an when required.
