Designs & Lines is an independent UK based company with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in bespoke and custom designed thermoplastic outdoor playground markings.

We work with Schools, Councils, Children Centres and many other organisations across the country helping them make good use of their outdoor space creating a successful environment for outdoor learning sports and play. We can transform dull playgrounds into educational, fun and captivating areas creating a successful environment for learning outside of the classroom.
The Role:
- The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday (35 hours).
- A flexible attitude, well organised and ability to work independently and as a team to tight deadlines.
- Creating bespoke designs.
- Consistency regardless of project size.
- Liaising effectively with other team members
- We would require this candidate to visit our schools that require a site survey to discuss the project and help the school with ideas and suggestions of making a great area for outdoor learning sports and play.
- Would need good attention to detail when taking measurements plan out when the playground designs are to be installed.
- Take adequate and clear notes and drone images, surface photos and site information and then provide detailed notes back to the office so we can produce a quotation and design visual.
- The pushy, pushy sales approach is not something that works in our industry so the candidate would need to be very personable, approachable, informative and just to be themselves. (The product kind of sells itself) the schools are looking for the companies who are easy to deal with, hassle free and informative and knowledgeable.
- We cover the whole of the UK so there will be times when a north run is required. Site surveys are limited to 2-3 a day and booked in areas so they are a number of visits in the same area.
