Job Title: Playground/Road Markings Installer
Location: Southend-on-Sea

Designs & Lines is UK based company with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in bespoke and custom designed thermoplastic outdoor playground marking and Car Park markings.
This is an outdoor based role covering predominately the south of the country installing various heat applied Thermoplastic markings as well as paint applied markings.

The Role:
- Covering the south of the UK which will involve travelling.
- Measuring and marking out of project.
- Prepping and priming the surface.
- Application will include heat applied thermoplastic markings & paint line marking machine.
- Ensuring the working area is safe for the public/children when in schools.
- Loading and unloading the van and helping the team to make sure the job is completed on schedule.
- Working on school and nursery sites nationwide carrying out small installations of playground equipment and laying thermoplastic markings.
- Be happy to work away from home/overnight. If required: Monday to Friday. We will provide accommodation and a subsistence allowance to pay for meals.
- Prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable and committed with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our team installing Thermoplastic Playground & Carpark Markings across the UK.
This is an outdoor based labour role covering the South, working within school grounds & other sites.
Requirements:
- Experience of installing Thermoplastic Line markings & Playground markings (although full training will be given) 1year experience.
- Hardworking and Reliable.
- Excellent attention to detail and Health & Safety awareness.
- Be able to problem solve and use initiative.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate well with customers and other staff members.
- Take pride in our business and be presentable.
- Be happy to work away from home / overnight stays.
- Candidates must be flexible and able to work during school holidays.
- Ground working and or landscaping experience.
- Able to carry out physical work.
- Able to read and understand plans and calculate measurements.
- Have a full clean UK Driving Licence.
