Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Congleton, CW12 1UW
Salary: £11.54 per hour
Job type: Full time, 40 hours per week over 5 days.
Fine Decor Wallcoverings Ltd is a leading Wallcoverings and Décor products supplier based in Congleton, Cheshire and part of the Brewster group whose offices are in Boston, USA.
The Role:
The successful candidate should have work experience in a similar role or have experience of working within a Warehousing / Distribution environment. Previous supervisory/ team leading experience is desirable, formal training using PPT/FLT/Bendi Truck and high-level order picker (HLOP) would also be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will focus on leading a small team within the (Bulk Warehouse). Duties to include overseeing picking, packing and dispatching from the bulk warehouse using a wms system (this includes online customers) Goods in/out area loading and unloading.
Ensuring all customer orders are dispatched with the delivery promise
Full training on systems and process will be provided
The Candidate:
- A positive hands-on approach
- Good time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively being crucial
- Capacity to function alone without direct oversight, follow instructions as well as working on own initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the company both verbally & using written communication
- Experience working in manual role
- Experience using scanning and picking software and equipment
- Basic PC skills
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Ability to manage teams effectively and prioritise labour demand and distribute in line with business requirements
Desirable Criteria
- Previous use of SAP
- Valid FLT Licence
- Valid Bendi Truck Licence
- Valid PPT training
- Valid HLOP
- Supervisory experience
