Job Title: Bench Joiner
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £15.00 to £17.00 per hour.
Job type: Permanent, Full time.
Hours of Work: 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 16:00 Friday, with a 45-minute unpaid break each day.

About us:
R W Armstrong is a family business with over 60 years’ experience working on some of the finest high-end residential properties in London and the South of England. Our joinery division, a member of the British Woodwork Federation, is one of our proudest assets, set in a brand new, state of the art workshop, opened in May 2022. The workshop is headed up by two master craftsmen with a longstanding commitment to training and developing their teams. As a member of the joinery team, you will work amongst skilled craftspeople achieving consistently high-quality finishes on a broad range of projects, supplying projects across our divisions.
Our Bench Joiner Will Be:
- An experienced individual, ideally holding a Qualification in City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery.
- An understanding of traditional and conventional joinery techniques and an ability to work to very fine tolerances.
- A proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to assist with Joinery site measures and fittings.
- A meticulously well organised individual with strong levels of planning.
