Job Title: Repairs Manager

Location: Watford

Salary: Up to £60,000 per year

Job type: Permanent – Full Time.

The Vacancy:

Our Property Services department sit at the heart of our business to deliver vital services that help people to live better lives.

As a Repairs Manager you will provide direction and leadership to our Gateway Repairs Team, enabling them to deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service to our residents.

The Candidate:

You will be customer-focused and a problem-solver with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You’ll have an excellent grasp of compliance, property services and repairs. You will have a background in building services (maintenance or property services), and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key attributes:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplined workforce
  • Experience in reactive repairs, voids, and domestic gas
  • Proven track record of service improvement
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound commercial approach
  • Experience of budget management
  • Knowledge of HSE policies and compliance
