Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager
Location: Didcot Quarter, (Near Milton Park), Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
The Role:
We are looking for a proactive individual to support our Operations Manager with the smooth running of our Logistics operation. To be successful in this role you will be motivated to deliver a high level of service and understand quality processes. This position would be ideal for someone looking to develop their career in Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support resource planning of the operational team
- Investigate and document incidents and quality variance
- Support management of vehicles and MHE
- Ensure processes are followed to achieve agreed service levels
- Work with HR Manager to recruit and retain team members
Key Requirements:
- A good command of the English language
- Experience of a logistics, production or similar environment
- Driving licence
