Founded in 1997, Target Fixings is a family-run business that has spent over 20 years as a leader in the design of specialist solutions, manufacturing a range of stainless steel helical bars as wall ties, reinforcement material, roofing fixings, bowing wall fixings and solid masonry connectors. Target have also designed the Heli Pile for use in underpinning or upgrading existing foundations, or providing new temporary foundations. This allows Target to work in wider industries, including the installation of off-site manufactured buildings, telephone masts or work in areas covered by Tree Protection Orders (TPOs). Target’s products have been installed throughout Europe, including (but not limited to) France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Czechia.
The role:
Target Fixings is looking for two highly motivated persons to join our Technical Sales team.
As a member of the technical sales team, you will handle all enquiries from Target’s clients – which range from homeowners to professionals in the construction industry such as architects, surveyors and engineers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Experience in sales and a proven ability to convert initial enquiries into sales
- Managing construction projects, drawing up technical specifications and quotes, and liaising with the on-site teams to ensure timely and quality completion of all works, ensuring that
- CDM regulations are adhered to at each step
- Communication with new and existing clients one-on-one in person, by telephone and by email, or to a group of potential clients through both online and in-person presentations

Desirable:

- Knowledge of the construction industry, especially with a technical background
