United Response is a leading national disability charity and we are looking for a professional and dedicated individual to join our supported living service in the Brentry area of Bristol as a Lead Senior Support Worker.
Here at United Response we passionately believe in supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and mental health needs. With Lead Senior Support Workers who help guide and manage our Support Workers, the people we support in Brentry are able to live full and sociable lives that involve interacting in the community without barriers.
What would you be doing?
- Mentoring other Support Workers
- Ensuring that good practice is adhered to
- Conduct 1-2-1s
- Completing and updating all relevant documentation
- Support worker duties
- Dealing with some behaviours that challenge
- Personal care
What makes a good Lead Senior Support Worker?
As you would be in a leadership position, we require our Lead Senior Support Workers to not only have previous experience within social care, but to also have the ability and confidence to share your knowledge with others. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Outlook, be able to adapt to changing circumstances and have a good level of personal organisation.
