About the role:
The Senior Fault Manager is responsible for the management and support of operational delivery from Activation to TTO at a field and project level.
Key tasks:
- Organise, lead and manage faults efficiently and effectively
- Own & manage the support of the project delivery team in all day-to-day delivery related activities to ensure success.
- Own the management all faults, liaising where necessary with BT and their SWC to progress TTO
- Work with the other departments on all matters regarding the day-to-day delivery of faults relating to safety of the field teams.
- Work with the technical services manager where necessary to progress to successful resolution.
- Provide support to members of the company delivery team as and when required.
- Be the main point of influence regarding the company direction on post activation activities.
- Receive & validate all relevant instructions from the client where required.
- Provide support to other service managers when requested.
- Collate & update databases/trackers with progress when required.
- Check and prepare instructions to partners & suppliers.
- Issue instructions with relevant purchase order to partners, suppliers & internal teams.
- Record incoming reports & issue regular outstanding reports details. Deal with all queries relating to this task.
- Manage & have regular meetings with suppliers/partners to ensure they meet delivery timescales to resolve issues.
- Understand, adhere to, and promote company policies and processes.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the business.
About you:
- Must have held a similar position previously. (E).
- Have proven experience in telecoms industry. (E).
- Demonstrate proven experience in the UK cellular and/or fixed line market. (E).
- Ideally hold a formal project management qualification. (D).
