Job Title: Yard Operative
Location: Croydon
Salary: Salary 10.05 per hour for 45 hours per week equals £23517.00 per year.

The Role:
This is to assist / work with other members of staff within the yard.
You should be able to concentrate on performing tasks and commit to all Health & Safety rules.
Full training and development of all disciplines within the Yard will be given.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To assist loading & unloading of vehicles.
- Have a down to earth attitude and good customer service skills.
- Unloading & checking deliveries.
- Keeping the yard clean & tidy.
- To maintain a safe working environment & adhered to Health & Safety procedures.
- Be responsible for maintaining or requesting of new PPE.
- Comply with policies and procedures of the company.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Cleaning & maintaining of electrical equipment.
- Directing vehicles in & out of the yard.
Key Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Hard working and willing to learn.
- Forklift license.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety.
