Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Haslingden
Salary: £28,500 per year (£14.00 p/h) to £30,000 per year (£14.50 p/h) based on skills, experience and qualifications.

The Role:
To support the conversion coordinator and shift manager in their roles/duties. Managing machine operatives in the conversion department, ensuring adherence to KPI targets. Ensuring that the operatives that they manage are adequately trained and developed to achieve organisational standards and performance measures.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Supporting the conversion coordinators and the shift manager in line with department KPI’s:
- Production and productivity
- Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental
- Housekeeping and Waste
First line management of production operatives:
- Performance monitoring and training
- Communication and Motivating
- Absence Management
Ensure compliance to company standards and procedures:
- BRC
- ISO 9001; 14001; 18001 and 27001.
The Person:
- Analytical with a high level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated and can work under pressure with a can-do attitude
- Proactive with a positive approach to work
- Confident at overcoming obstacles
- Confident leading, developing and inspiring a team
- Excellent oral communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of people
- Embraces change and always looking for ways to make improvements in work practices
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping
Knowledge, Training and Experience required
- Previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment (Minimum of two years)
- ILM Level 3 Team leader/Supervisor (Achieved or working towards)
- IOSH Working Safely (1-day course)
- Quality and environmental awareness
Shift Pattern:
- Rotating 3-week pattern, working rotation of days and nights (No working between 19:00 on Friday to 19:00 on Sundays), hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, average 39.5-hour per week.
