Job Title: Team Leader – TSG Academy

About the role
As the TSG Academy Team Leader, you will support and develop our groups of Trainee Consultants whilst they complete a training programme to become an expert in some of TSG’s busiest Microsoft practices. This position requires a strong leader, who has a flexible approach and is able to adapt themselves to suit individual learning styles. You will work closely with our Operations Managers across the business to coordinate on the job training, as well as ensuring that our Trainee Consultants objectives are set and met, to keep them on track for graduation and moving into a permanent role within the business

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Day to day management of TSG Academy team members
- Mentoring and coaching in support of academy team members personal and professional development
- Deliver training into the academy in support of professional and personal development
- Create facilitate, and monitor training plans for academy team members
- Support recruitment of new academy team members
- Liaise with departments across the business in support of academy team development
- Evaluate academy progress against agreed objectives and report into the Operations team
- Develop and maintain academy specific training plans on the Learning Management System
- Provide tutoring and guidance on working in a professional services organisation
- Manage and support the transition of academy team members into their functional teams
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
- Experience of managing and supervising a team is essential
- A demonstrable background in performance management is essential
- Experience of coaching and delivering training plans is essential
- Recent experience of conducting training needs analysis (TNA) would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a multi-site organisation would be advantageous
- Comfortable using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams to a good standard
- Organised and able to work independently
- Good verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Able to adapt to and embrace change with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
